Garden Centre 'Plant Carrier Bags'

Alpha Packaging have worked with HTA (Horticultural Trade Assocation) Members across the UK for the last year to develop a new product to our range of packaging products ... the 'Plant Carrier Bag'.

These products are due to arrive from our factory in China by December and are available to back order now, for an interactive order form please email sales@alphapackaging.co.uk

They have the following features making them a great cost efective alternative to the cardboard tray that are often given out by garden centres;
  • a simple to use flat bag with handles
  • also works as a car boot liner
  • retains water spillage within carrier bag
  • ideal for transporting plants from the garden centre to the car and minimises plant damage

New Carrier Bag Law

Many of our customers have asked about the new carrier bag charge which is due to be introduced in 2015, fear not it only affects supermarkets and larger organisations employing over 250 people so most independant retailers should be ok and the 5p charge is charged to the customer who is infact donating to charity and not taxes, the below articles should clear things up a bit....
